By Norm Reitter posted 05-22-2018 13:50

The MORS Logistics Analysis Community of Practice had our May 2018 meeting today where we discussed some of the current logistics issues that impact us in the National Security Community.  Are your issues represented?  What additional issues should we add to this list?

To participate in the monthly LoG CoP, contact Norm Reitter (norm.reitter@gmail.com, nreitter@canallc.com) or Liz Marriott (liz.marriott@mors.org).  Join our Logistics Community of Practice community on MORS.Net to stay updated on the latest discussion and information.  Go to MORS.Net -> Communities to sign up!

Our next LoG CoP meeting will be held on-site at the 86th MORS Symposium at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA.  We'll also have an option for those who are not able to join us on-site.

With regards to JLOTS: That might be a rapidly changing equation if General Perna's mindset is upheld and the army divests of much of it's watercraft fleet. I actually did a study on Army watercraft last year for Gen Perna, so If anyone wants to get in to specifics about it, we can chat. https://breakingdefense.com/2018/05/army-amc-head-wants-to-stop-buying-ships/
