Our speaker will be Dr. Hiba Baroud, an assistant professor and Dean's Faculty Fellow in Vanderbilt University’s Engineering Department, will speak with us about her research in critical infrastructure modeling and resilience monitoring, risk analysis, and risk-informed decision analysis.
Professor Baroud also has expertise in data-driven Bayesian methods for predicting the occurrence of disruptive infrastructure system events and stochastic modeling of recovery processes of physically disrupted systems and interdependent and indirectly impacted systems.
