FAST DESIGN OF WIRELESS MESH NETWORKS TO DEFEND AGAINST WORST-CASE JAMMING Paul J. Nicholas and David L. Alderson Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) are interconnected radio systems that provide untethered network connectivity for a group of users who require data, voice, and/or video communication. Because WMN devices require only a local power source, such as a battery or portable generator, they are well- suited to operations in austere environments such as combat and humanitarian assistance and/or disaster relief operations. Check out the MORS Journal online! The online journal can be found here: http://www.mors.org/Publications/MOR-Journal Articles Include: OPTIMAL INTERDICTION OF A GROUND CONVOY Dong Hwan Oh and R. Kevin Wood This paper describes and develops theory and a solution method for the convoy quickest-path interdiction problem (CQPI). In CQPI, an interdictor (or attacker) uses limited resources to attack components of a road network to maximally delay a ground convoy transiting between specified origin and destination nodes in the network. The convoy’s commander (or de-fender) routes the convoy on a quickest path, which determines a convoy’s instantaneous speed ...

In the meantime, MORS invites you to take a survey about topics or speakers you would like to have present to the group in future meetings, and even some thought into particular directions you think this CoP should go. To take the survey, click here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BBDVD2W As a group, we could pursue specific tools, techniques, methods, or systems of interest that could benefit CoP members and the community-at-large. ...
